Physiotherapy UK went virtual in 2020, with physiotherapy professionals giving presentations online to attendees across the country. Digital physiotherapy was the focus for two network sessions.
Past, Present and Future of Digital Physiotherapy
This session explored digital physiotherapy from the early days through the present day, and presented a view on the future use of technology in our profession. Euan McComiskie, Digital and Data Lead for UK and Professional Advisor for Northern Ireland, hosted presentations from three experts in digital physiotherapy followed by some questions and answers from those in attendance.

Digital physiotherapy education
This session explored how physiotherapists learn about digital during their undergraduate courses, alongside their clinical roles and when they wish to specialise in digital physiotherapy. Jane Mitchell, the CSP's Professional Adviser for the South West of England, hosted a discussion on the opportunities and challenges for digital physiotherapy education.
