The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy will be hosting six local meetings across Northern Ireland this month, aiming to reach and engage with as many Support Workers as possible.
The CSP is aiming to develop a credible set of recommendations for the growth and development of the physiotherapy support workforce in Northern Ireland and these meetings will provide an opportunity for Support Workers to share their thoughts about the current opportunities, barriers to, and aspirations for training, education and career development.
The CSP will also report on the findings of a recent survey that was completed by support workers and heads of service in May this year. They will explain how similar work has been conducted in the rest of the UK, and discuss what the possibilities could be for support staff in Northern Ireland, including a discussion about apprenticeships.
The six events taking place in Northern Ireland are for support staff only. You only need to attend one, so please choose the session which suits you best (in terms of time/date/location). If your local session is full, please feel free to attend one of the alternative options.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed and refreshments provided (any dietary requirements can be highlighted on the form).
