Lateral Flow Testing for Independent Practitioners in Northern Ireland
The CSP Office in Northern Ireland has been asked by the Public Health Agency to work with them to ensure that AHP Independent Practitioners (IPs) in NI (who are not employed in a HSC setting or any other setting setting that makes lateral flow tests available to them) are aware that they can have access to the Lateral Flow Device (LFD) testing kits.
CSP motion at ICTU conference: The Northern Ireland Executive should prioritise community rehabilitation as part of Covid recovery
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) will today (23rd March) put forward a motion, at the Northern Ireland Committee Irish Congress of Trade Union (NICICTU) virtual conference, calling for the Northern Ireland Executive to prioritise rehabilitation as a part of Covid recovery and demand that politicians and policy makers take urgent action to ensure that this is delivered.
Ulster University - relocation of school of health sciences
Ulster University has announced that it will relocate undergraduate health sciences programmes from its Jordanstown campus to the Magee campus at Derry~Londonderry from September 2022.
Northern Ireland: Covid vaccine will be available to physios working in the independent sector
The CSP has welcomed today’s announcement that physiotherapists working in the independent sector in Northern Ireland will be able to get Covid vaccinations from 18 January through their local HSC trust.
