Physios could be awarded thousands of pounds to help them develop products that will improve the quality of life of people with arthritis.
A further £50,000 is availablefor selected products
The Design Council Spark award, run jointly by Arthritis Research UK and the Design Council, will provide £15,000 for product development and mentoring for ideas that can benefit those with arthritis.
Three products will initially be chosen, and the one with the clearest commercial future will receive a further £50,000 to develop the product for market.
CSP professional adviser Stuart Palma said: ‘Physiotherapy staff are constantly innovating. This is a great opportunity for us to use our knowledge and skills to develop life-changing products for those suffering with disability.’
Entries must be submitted by 14 December, via the Design Council website.
