5 reasons to study this programme at Teesside University
Our recently revalidated course has been designed and developed to meet the requirements for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and to join the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
You will be studying full-time at a modern, town centre campus with excellent bespoke facilities and on clinical placement in a variety of local health care and non-health care settings, i.e., wherever a Physiotherapist would be employed.
You will study a modern dynamic curriculum and be supported in your learning by a highly skilled team of academic staff with expertise across a range of specialisms including clinical, non-clinical and education.
The recent revalidation has focused on enhancing and embedding multi-professional learning within the Allied Health Professions Department.
Opportunities are available for employment within the NHS, private sector or charitable trusts – in hospitals, GP surgeries, schools, industry and in the community. You could also consider a career working in clinical research or teaching, in the UK or overseas.
