This one-day workshop will cover some of the communication challenges faced by physiotherapists such as, working with resistance and supporting adherence. Participants on this course will gain a deeper understanding of what is meant by personalised care and how this can support behaviour change.
We will touch on some of the basic skills of coaching and what it means to develop a coaching approach within your practice, with the opportunity to learn and practise some evidence based communication models shown to support adherence and health literacy. Our course will help participants to increase their confidence in having deeper, more impactful conversations with patients.
