If you have done a Dry Needling course (either level 1 or level 1&2 with club physio or another service provider) and your physio, osteo, chiro, sports and soft tissue therapist insurance or professional body requires you to review, upskill, renew or re-certify then this course is for you.
You must be a healthcare practitioner or soft tissue therapist who practices dry needling and DN is in your scope of practice, and you want or need to review your needling skills, techniques, directions, safety and needle choices.
Most importantly your insurance or professional bodies cover now stipulates that you refresh, review or re-certify your DN techniques on a regular basis to ensure your insurance cover remains in place.
The DN review course starts off with a short review of the dry needling principles and practice / safety / physiology / pain management / anatomy and no-go-areas and then we review needling of the main muscles from the DN1&2 courses while practically assessing your technique.
Why do the DN review course? You might be one of the many folks who complete a dry needling course and then don’t go on to fully incorporate DN into your clinical practice or you just don’t ever develop full confidence in your needling skills and technique. Or you fall pregnant and stop treating patients for a period of time / years and you now need to re-skill your DN techniques and confidence; or you have moved countries and you want to review / re-do a DN course to upskill your techniques.
The DN review course is made up of needling and reviewing all the main muscles and areas of the body like the arms, legs, pelvis, lumbar and cervical spine, thoracic needling and the TMJ muscles.
