Antisemitism is anti-Jewish racism. It can take place in workplaces, in universities, in the media, in political parties, in sport and our wider society.
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance has produced guidance on what constitutes antisemitism.
Antisemitism includes, but is not limited to:
- violence against Jews because of their identity
- Holocaust denial
- discrimination at work or college
- use of offensive language towards Jews
- sharing antisemitic tropes
- blaming all Jews for the actions of Israel
- stereotyping Jews
