Physiotherapy staff in Northern Ireland are being consulted to see what the CSP’s next steps should be on pay.
There has been no enhancement for 2022/23 and no offer made for 2023/24.
The consultation will be open until Monday 3 July.
A pay deal has been implemented in England, Wales and Scotland. In all three countries work is underway on the non-pay elements of each of the deals.
CSP assistant director Elaine Sparkes said: ‘We have reached the milestone of pay being concluded in three of the four countries for this year.
‘Unfortunately this leaves Northern Ireland as an outlier again.
‘Without a functioning executive to make decisions, and without direct intervention from Westminster it is unclear how the situation will be resolved, especially given the levels of debt in the health and social care service.’
CSP members were emailed on Monday to explain the consultation process.
In-person meetings will take place in each trust to give an opportunity for members to hear more details and ask questions.
A virtual meeting is planned for 12.30pm on 26 June. Register here
