The CSP East of England Regional Network is asking local CSP members to share how they are supporting the Stronger My Way campaign and offering the chance to win a SMW strength kit.
What is Stronger My Way?
The Stronger My Way online hub contains the why and the how you need to talk more about strength. The ‘one stop shop’ of strengthening resources to help empower your patients to become stronger is online here.
With input from people living with long-term conditions, physiotherapy staff and other key stakeholders, the hub’s content considers the key barriers and motivators when it comes to strengthening. It delivers everything you need to know about strengthening activity!
Healthcare professionals helping people to feel stronger will find the evidence base, links to training and resources, and a forum to share information and experiences.
Patients who want to get stronger can find videos, supporting resources and stories about people living with health conditions.
Eyes on the prize!
A versatile strength kit is up for grabs and will include hand weights, resistance bands, arm trainers, a yoga mat and pull up bands.
The kit could be used in a variety of settings, from inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, in the community in both the NHS or private setting.

Four winners will be chosen at random between June 2022 and March 2023.
The small print
Winners must be based in the East of England.
Winners will be asked to provide photos or video of the kit being used. Patient consent must be granted, and submitted photos will be used in competition promotion.
It is the winners’ responsibility to ensure the safety of patients using the kit. Winners must ensure that they follow their own IPAC regulations and ensure the kit is safety checked and disposed of when no longer viable to use.
The kit will not be replaced if it is lost or damaged.
