Physio lecturer Martyn Wyres said the new building is the only one of its type in the UK where physiotherapy students can learn how to treat patients at every stage of their recovery.
Commenting on the visit, third year physio student Alex Winch said: ‘We demonstrated the use of the new “community house” and how we might help a patient in their home environment, including some mobility work. And we showed them how the facility will prepare us for our placements.’
