The CSP’s Frontline magazine has won the ‘Best Union Journal’ award at this year’s TUC Communications Awards.
The judges were particularly impressed with our Pride Month edition, alongside our strong coverage of pay issues and rehabilitation. They said: 'Reader feedback is given space and recognition, and members’ lives and opinions are well reflected throughout. There’s also a strong emphasis on learning and networking.'
Each monthly edition of Frontline is put together by a talented team of editors, designers, members and staff contributors, all working to bring the latest physiotherapy news, research, and insights to our members.
Many members tell us Frontline is one of their most valued membership benefits.
Lynne Turnbull, a clinical tutor from Edinburgh Napier University, shared: 'I really look forward to receiving Frontline each month and eagerly open it to see the latest content that interests me, whether that's new research, discussion topics, or examples of good practice.'
CSP communications director Rob Yeldham said: 'This award is a testament to the hard work of everyone who creates Frontline, and it also reflects the engagement of our members who regularly contribute and share their stories. Thank you to everyone involved.'
The TUC has 48 affiliated unions and many have more than one member magazine or journal.
Rob added: 'I am delighted that the excellence of our comms as a union is recognised by our peers across the movement.'
