TCS London Marathon 2024 lead physiotherapist Liz Nicholls said: ‘There will be multiple medical points along the entire 26.2-mile course, as well as a complete medical team at the finish line, working with our medical provider to support our participants.
So if you’d like to be a part of the UK’s largest marathon - and be inspired by our amazing participants who raise millions of pounds for charity each year – please register.
In a sad note, Liz acknowledged the loss of Sue Crewe-Smith, pictured, who volunteered on the finish line for the London Marathon for over 30 years and passed away at the end of 2023.
‘Sue offered amazing support and mentorship to generations of physiotherapy volunteers and runners alike. She will be sadly missed but always in our thoughts.’
An obituary for Sue will be in the March edition of Frontline.
