The CSP has completed the sale of its former headquarters in Bedford Row, London.
Since October 2021, the CSP has operated from a smaller, lower cost and more modern office at 10 Furnival Street.
The sale price achieved for the society's former office buildings in Bedford Row was £7.3 millon, which is in line with the most recent market valuation carried out in December 2022.
Commenting on the sale, Jon Mawby, CSP corporate services director said: 'In recent years we’ve moved to hybrid working with staff based across the nations and regions of the UK. This enables us to better support our members where they work.
The sale completes a four-year programme to improve the efficiency of the CSP by providing more effective office space and supporting staff to work remotely. We now have a more accessible, fit-for-purpose and flexible office space.
The sale frees up some of CSP's fixed assets which will be invested to generate future returns to serve members now and in the future.
