CSP awards accolades to physiotherapy champions

Five coveted CSP awards were made in recognition of services to physiotherapy.

A fellowship went to Cherry Kilbride (pictured, centre), senior lecturer in physiotherapy at Brunel University, for her work on stroke rehabilitation.

Former CSP chair Sue Rees (second right) was awarded a fellowship for her regular contribution to CSP responses to government consultations.

Dawn Skelton(far left), professor in ageing and health at Glasgow Caledonian University, received an honorary fellowship for her work in falls prevention over the last 20 years.

And a distinguished service award went to Karen Winrow (second left), vice chair of Physio First, who has championed high quality continuing professional development materials in conjunction with the University of Brighton.

Also present was Vikki Goodwin (far right), who was made a fellow in 2015.

CSP president Ilora Finlay presented the awards.
