The Myth Buster posters explain the latest evidence for back care

Launched today, to coincide with World Physical Therapy Day (8 September), the initiative is aimed at physiotherapists, healthcare practitioners and patients.

It includes a series of four ‘Myth Buster’ posters, which can be displayed in waiting rooms and other public areas. The posters explain the latest evidence about what is best in terms of back care.

Physios can also order extra posters and ‘vertebrae’ shaped leaflets that explain the latest thinking on keeping mobile, taking exercise, and the effectiveness of scans.

These are available from www.csp.org.uk/mythbusters

In the 21 September 2016 issue of Frontline Uzo Ehiogu, communications officer for the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, explains how the campaign will help patients and commissioners to understand the facts about low back pain. Read Debunking myths
