ME/CFS: new guidance for community-based healthcare practitioners
New guidance aims to inform and empower community-based healthcare practitioners with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively diagnose, manage, and support patients with myalgic encephalomyelitis or chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS).

It forms the second section of NHS England’s ME/CFS e-learning programme and is being available with universal access to healthcare professionals, people with lived experience of ME/CFS and family and friends with lived experience of ME/CFS.
A Learning Hub account is required to access the guidance, which anyone can register for at the link below, or NHS healthcare staff can also access via the Electronic Staff Record.
Frailty: identification and interventions
The British Geriatrics Society is offering a free e-learning course for any health or social care professional who provides care and services for older people living with, or at risk of, frailty.
NHS respiratory surge in children programme
A free e-learning programme provides NHS staff with guidance for various settings where a child may present with respiratory illness. These include home, primary and community care, and acute hospitals.
